About:

We are an association that produces and trades biological snails using an intensive mode and that makes the reproduction of newborn snails.

The snails are sold live or frozen ad-equately purged and ready to cook.. They are provided in packings of 1 or 5kg or in any other package of any other quantity.

The region of Trás-os-Montes has soils and climates suitable for snail farming, olive groves, vineyards, chestnut, nuts, apple trees, pear trees, small fruits, hor-ticulture, potato, extensive livestock, tra-ditional quality productions, beekeeping, etc.

With an area of 13,600 square meters, our covered greenhouses have an irrigation system, using micro aspersion and nebuli-zation methods, suitable to control mois-ture and temperature. Greenhouses are provided with all conditions for the process of fattening and reproduction of snails (newborn snails) and are scaled to accom-(accom-modate the entire productive cycle. 

This type of structure allows the control of factors such as food and climate, but also enables having fresh snails available throughout the year.

We rely on support warehouses equipped with breeding rooms, purge rooms, pack-ing and refrigerated compartments. 

The entire production process of the snail, from its birth to the packaging is subject to a strict control of hygiene and food safety.

The fattening fields contain several vege-tables that, apart from providing shadow, serve as natural food for snails, always complemented by the use of selected ra-tion.
