Liqueurs

Portugal offers a wide variety of liqueurs. You can have them after a meal or just when you feel like it. These are very enjoyable drinks.
Some of the most famous liqueurs include amendoa, an almond liqueur, which is sweet, light and with low alcohol and ginja, also known as Ginjinha, is a brandy-based cherry liqueur.

Brandies

There is a wide variety of brandies in Portugal, some are aged in wooden casks. They have a caramel tone that reflects the aging process.
