About:
This Vintage 2003 has a unique personality. It was made from the Quintas best grapes, slowly foot threaded in lagar, as traditional in the Douro Valley.
The wine was aged in tank for the 12 months, and then in old wood casks until bottling at the 2th year. It is intense in colour, with a bouquet of ripe grapes and forest berries.

Aroma:
Ripe grapes
Tasting Notes:
Elegant, fruity and full-bodied on the palat
Suggestions:
It is an intense, ripe and full-bodied wine, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a several years after bottling, with the wine acquiring a character of its own.Goes well with goat and sheep blue cheeses, red meats.
