This Vintage has a unique personality. It was made from the Quinta.s best grapes, slowly oot threaded in lagar, as traditional in the Douro Valley. The wine was aged in tank for the12 months, and then in old wood casks until bottling at the 2nd year.

It is an intense, ripe and full-bodied wine, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a several years after bottling, with the wine acquiring a character of its own. Goes along well with goat cheese and red meats.
